Will Nimble Author be integrated with Nimble LMS 2?

Yes! Nimble Author will be integrated with Nimble LMS 2 in the future.

If you start using Nimble LMS 2 before the integration is ready, our migration process will handle exporting your courses to SCORM format and adding them to your site in the first instance. Once this has been done, you’ll still be able to create and edit Nimble Author courses by logging into your existing Nimble site (just like you already do) and exporting them to SCORM 1.2 format. However, there are a couple of limitations to be aware of:

• Surveys won’t work due to limitations in the SCORM 1.2 standard — please note that if you’ve been using surveys, to avoid data loss, you must not remove them before speaking with your Customer Success Manager or our Support team first.
• Assessment and interaction results will be limited — you won’t be able to see the specific answers learners gave to questions.

These limitations will be resolved once the full integration between Nimble Author and Nimble LMS 2 is in place.
