In this article, we’re going to show you how to add topics.
Top tips before you begin
- Topics help keep your content grouped into logical sections for your learners – you can think of them as a lot like chapters in a book.
- You don’t have to use topics if you don’t want to. You might be building microlearning, in which case just a single page or an assessment might be enough.

Adding a topic.
To add a topic:
- From the bar that runs down the left of the side menu, click the
Course structure button.
- At the bottom of the side menu, mouse over the
button.
- Click Add topic.
- Enter a name for your topic and click the
button. Your topic will be added, and will appear in the side menu.
Moving existing pages into the topic
To add existing pages into the topic:
- Drag and drop the page onto the topic in the side menu.
