Introduction
In this article, we’re going to show you how to publish your course.
Why do I need to publish my course?
- When you create a course, learners will not be able to access it until it is published.
- When you make changes to a course, learners will not see those changes until you publish them.
- If you want to export a SCORM version of your course, it will export the last published version of the course. So your course needs to:
- Be published
- And any subsequent revisions to the course also need to be published if you want them included in your SCORM file.
Top tips before you begin
- When you edit a Nimble Author course, your changes are created as a revision. The changes in your revision aren’t made live until you publish them.
- This means that you can:
- Create a course
- Enrol your learners onto it
- Make changes to the course without them becoming visible to learners until you’re ready for them to go live.
- Before you publish your course, you should ensure that:
- You’ve proofed your course.
- You’ve checked how your course looks on desktop.
- You’ve checked how your course looks on tablet.
- You’ve checked how your course looks on mobile.
