Changing the date or time on your Windows 10 computer

Introduction

If the date or time on your computer are incorrect, this can cause problems using Nimble Author.

Changing the date or time on your computer

To change the date or time on your computer:

1. Mouse over the date and time on your computer (usually located in the bottom-right of the screen).
2. Right-click on the date and time and then choose Adjust date/time from the menu.

3. From the Time zone drop-down, ensure that the time zone is correctly set for the country that you are in.
4. In most instances, if the date and time on your computer are incorrect, this will be because the Set the time automatically option has been set to off. Change Set the time automatically to On.
5. If changing Set the time automatically option to On has not resolved the problem, change it back to Off and then click the Change button beneath Set the date and time manually.

6. Set the date and time as accurately as possible and then click the Change button.
