What is a SCORM package?

You can think of a SCORM package as a little like self-assembly furniture for a learning management system.

When you export your course from Nimble Author to SCORM format, we put the files that make up your elearning into a box (a zip file) and then add a set of instructions (a manifest file) into the box.

When you import your course into a learning management system, it opens the box (the zip file) and reads the instructions (the manifest file) to understand what to do with the files.
