Where is my SCORM file?
- Depending on how your browser is set up, it may either download the SCORM file automatically to your hard drive, or it may ask you where you would like to save the file. We would suggest giving it a meaningful filename, with the name of the course, date of export, and the word 'scorm' in it.
- If your file has downloaded, but you don't know where it is, click on you browser menu, and select 'Downloads'. Look for the file you recently downloaded. The default filename will be a string of unique letters hyphens and digits followed by .zip. .e.g: 07e30c8e-a5cc-4e8e-8fcd-fe0859a8a717.zip. Your browser 'Downloads' list should have an option to 'Show in folder'. Select that, and your computer should open a file explorer, showing the folder the file is saved in.
- Additionally, you can find your browser's default download location by selecting your browser's 'Settings' from the browser menu, and finding the 'Download' option, which with tell you where it's saving files. It should also give you options to set a different download location, or to ask you where to save files each time.
- If you haven't already done so, we would suggest renaming you .zip file giving it a meaningful filename, with the name of the course, date of export, and the word 'scorm' in it.
