Introduction
In this article, we’re going to show you how to add a glossary to your course.
Top tips before you begin
- Every industry has its own jargon, buzzwords and acronyms. Your learners might not always be familiar with them.
- The glossary provides a handy place for you to explain any terms that you’re using and that your learners might not know.
Adding a glossary
To add a glossary:
- From the bar that runs down the left of the side menu, click the
Learner resources button.
- From the side menu, click Glossary.
Adding a new resource
To add a new term to your glossary:
- Click the Add item button.
Entering your term
To enter a title for your resource:
- In the Term field, enter your term.
Entering the definition
- Click in the field beneath your term.
- Enter your definition
Adding more terms
To add more terms:
- Click the Add item button in the top-right of the screen.
- Repeat steps 4 – 6.
How your learners interact with it
To access the glossary, your learners:
- Click the course menu.
- Click Glossary.
