In this article, we’ll teach you how to replace a course in SCORM format. You might want to do this if:
- You’ve purchased some courses in SCORM format from an elearning provider.
- You’ve built your own courses using an authoring tool other than Nimble Author.
- You wish to update an existing SCORM course in Nimble with a more up to date version.
To replace a SCORM package for an existing course, you need to go to the course settings for that course and then import the new SCORM package into it.
NOTE: Importing a SCORM course into an existing course will erase the previous course content and replace it with the newly imported SCORM course. Any results associated with the old course will be retained.
Top tips before you begin
- SCORM is only supported for subscribers. If you're using a trial or pay as you go account, you won't be able to import a SCORM package.
- Nimble LMS only currently supports SCORM 1.2. Other import formats such as SCORM 2004 are not currently supported.
- The maximum size of file that may be uploaded is 300MB.
