New rating block

You told us that Nimble Author needed an interaction to allow learners to rate things, and we listened! You can now add rating blocks to your course pages and your survey. For more information on using the rating block, see our new article: How to add a rating block

Colours, shapes and sizes for text pop-ups

You told us that you'd like to be able to customise the colour, shape and size of text pop-up buttons - now you can! For more information on how to set these up, see our new article: How to add text popus (September 2023 update)

Automatic transitions for assessment questions

You told us that when completing the assessment, you'd like the option for learners to be moved onto the next question automatically. Now you can do this - for more information, see our article: Automatic transitions for assessment questions

Support for animated GIFs within image blocks

You can now add animated GIFs to your image blocks. Once added, these begin playing automatically when a page is loaded and play repeatedly until the learner moves onto the next page. For more information on how to add an image, see our article: How to add images

Interface improvements

We've made some improvements to the side-menu, learner resources, learner glossary and tutor audio bar. These still work just as you expect them to but with some light tweaks to make them even more intuitive to use!

Four new languages

We've added support for four new languages within Nimble Author only:
