How to change the assessment passmark

Introduction

In this article, we’re going to show you change the score your learners need to achieve to pass the assessment.

Top tips before you begin

• It’s worth aiming to use a consistent passmark across all of your courses wherever possible. If your learners take three courses that have a passmark of 80% they’ll naturally anticipate the next will be the same.

Changing the passmark

To change the assessment passmark:

1. From the bar that runs down the left of the side menu, click the Settings button.
2. From the side menu, click Course settings.

3. From beneath the Passmark heading, drag the slider to adjust the passmark.
