Missing buttons

Introduction

Although it’s unusual, some heavily restricted environments may prevent Nimble Author from loading correctly. In the example below, you’ll see that:

• The buttons within the side menu are missing and have been replaced by text.
• The back and forwards buttons to the left and right of the page have been replaced by text.
• The buttons that you use to access mobile/tablet/desktop previews in the bottom-right of the screen have been replaced by text.

This happens because your computer is being prevented from connecting to our servers properly.

Top tips before you begin

• If your computer is being prevented from properly connecting to our servers, you’ll likely need some assistance from your IT department.
