In this article we will teach you how to add a new user as a Client Administrator, if your account has Client Management enabled.
For accounts of less than 3,000 learners, there is an additional charge for Client Management.
Client Management adds another level of permissions to your account, which allows you to separate your learners, on your site, into Client(s), or Department groups, and have site Administrators who can only access information and perform activities, for the learners and courses assigned specifically to them.
Adding New User(s); Client Administrators
1. Add new users by navigating to the 'Settings' tab and clicking the ‘Add account user’ button:
2. Enter User Details - this includes the following:
- First and last name
- Phone number - if required, is optional
- Email – please note that the system does not automatically send an email to the new user,
you will need to tick the box at the bottom of the page to alert the user - Password – user will be asked to reset this when accessing via automatically generated
email (providing you choose the Send informative welcome email checkbox) - Role – determine what role the user should have (this should be client administrator if related to the client)
- Client – if clients are set up on your domain, you can select to which client(s) this user is
assigned (can be to all clients or only one client, if enabled on your account). Please see the instructions for; Adding New Clients. - Send informative welcome email - if required, is optional:
3. Once completed, click the button.
Please note: if you would like to limit what a Client Administrator can/cannot do, and/or discuss the possible options available, this may require additional conversations with your account manager to decide on how to adjust your Client Management to better suit your needs.
