Introduction
In this article, we’re going to show you how to add title text to your pages.
Top tips before you begin
- Because your learners will typically move through your course page-by-page, if you’re adding title text to the first page in a topic, we’d recommend prefixing your title text with an indicator that your learners are beginning a new section of content. For example: Topic 1: Finding your way around Nimble Author.
Adding title text to a page
To add title text to a page:
- Whilst editing a page, drag and drop a Title text (
) block from the Add content section of the side menu and onto the page.
- Select the Title text block (where it says Enter your text here.)
- Type your text or copy and paste it from another programme, such as Microsoft Word.
- Select somewhere on your page outside of the title text block to save your changes.
Formatting your title text
You can format your title text using the toolbar that appears above the title text block.
To apply formatting to your text:
- Select the text you’d like to format.
- Select the format you’d like to apply from the toolbar.
The formatting options, from left to right, are:

Delete the Title text block |
