Introduction
In this article, we’re going to show you how to add feature text to your pages.
Top tips before you begin
- Feature text helps you emphasise text to your learners – it’s the perfect way to make a quote or important text stand out.
Adding feature text to a page
To add feature text to a page:
- Whilst editing a page, drag and drop a Feature text (
) block from the Add content section of the side menu and onto the page.
- Select the Feature text block and from the toolbar select the edit (
) button.
- Select the text area and type your text or copy and paste it from another programme, such as Microsoft Word.
Formatting your feature text
You can format your title text using the toolbar that appears above the title text block.
To apply formatting to your text:
- Select the text you’d like to format.
- Select the format you’d like to apply from the toolbar.
The formatting options, from left to right, are:

Changing the feature text type
You can pick from three types of feature text which change the way the block displays on the page.
Warning text | Quote text | Blank |
To pick the type of feature text you’d like to use:
- Select the drop-down to the left of the text area.
- Pick the type of feature text you’d like to use.
Saving your changes and returning to the page
To save your changes and return to the page:
- Select the
in the top-right of the screen.
