Just like in a real-life shop, you organise the products (elearning courses) in your Nimble ecommerce catalogue to help customers find them easily. You do this using categories, which are super-easy to add.
When you’re just getting started with ecommerce you might find you already have some categories set up. Nimble automatically creates a category with the same name as any folder you create, as long as the folder contains at least one course.
Adding a category to your ecommerce site
To add a category to your Nimble ecommerce catalogue, you log into your LMS and then:
- From the LMS home screen, click the
Shop button in the top left nav bar (if the Shop button is missing, just contact your Customer Success Manager for help).
- To add a new category, click the
button.
- In the Title field, enter a name for your course as you’d like it displayed to your learners and then click the
button.
