Important note: If you’re planning to build courses using Nimble Author and use them within Nimble LMS, or use courses you buy from Nimble Courses within Nimble LMS, you don’t need to follow the steps in this article!
If you’re:
- Planning to use Nimble Author to build elearning courses for use in your own LMS
- Planning to use any of our Nimble Courses within your own LMS
We want you to be confident that your courses will work straight away, and that you can hit the ground running! The best way to do this is by using our SCORM test package, which has been built to cover all of the main areas of functionality in our courses.
Nimble Author exports courses in SCORM 1.2 format which is the most widely supported standard for sharing elearning. Although it’s a standard, and most LMS providers implement it in largely the same way, some providers have their own minor variations.
You can download our SCORM test package by clicking here.
Once you’ve downloaded the package, you should:
- Import it into your LMS
- Enrol yourself onto the course as a learner
- Work through the course and check that everything works correctly (including that data is tracked properly in your LMS) when you pass the course.
- Work through the course and check that everything works correctly (including that data is tracked properly in your LMS) when you fail the course.
What happens if I run into difficulties?
It’s unlikely that you’ll run into difficulties, but if you do, just submit a ticket to our helpdesk at support@nimble-elearning.com. We’ll be pleased to help as quickly as possible!
